About Us

      After obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management, at ST. Thomas Aquinas College in 2016, I went on to manage at an upscale sports facility and branched out to become a Sports coordinator at a Non-Profit organization. Building years of experience and a passion for the field like no other, I knew Ball Universe was the only path for me.

    Growing up in New York City, the Bronx to be exact, there isn't much to do outside as kids. I remember my friends and I would rummage through the building basement looking for crates. The sparks of creativity running, thinking we could create our own basketball court on our street, and cutting them with my mom's good kitchen utensils when she wasn't looking. Having to sacrifice one of the only two times, I had to be able go upstairs before I couldn't go back down anymore, to then using pizza box string, and lifting the smallest of us up on the fire escape to tie up our first hoop. I remember using the inside courtyard as the improvised bases for baseball in an attempt to try and smack the wiffle ball across the street to the next building for a home run. Even using the light posts down each side of University Avenue as first down indicators in football. I remember having to use the sunset and streetlights as a sign that the game was over and we all had to go back to our own worlds. And then, finally being able to go down the block to Devoe park alone. Really where it all started... it was when I knew what I know now but didn’t know then.

   Staying in the park all day from Saturday morning to Sunday night was the only thing on my agenda. Devoe park was where I played basketball and met other kids in my neighborhood, but it also became my sanctuary. Socializing, observing, absorbing Everything. Realizing every individual has their own style, demeanor, language, but when you stepped on the court everyone had the same mindset. Showing off your skills, imitating athletes you admire and trying your best to help your team win was the goal.

   Ball Universe came about with the idea of intertwining creativity in athletes, and providing the platform to showcase talent. Founded in 2021, Ball Universe LLC is a comprehensive sports franchise focusing on youth and adult sports engagement. Our mission is to provide a structured, inclusive, and enriching environment for individuals of all ages and foster personal growth.  We emphasize equal opportunity, ensuring that all participants, regardless of their background, have access to high-quality training and competitive play.
